Our heavy vehicle courses prepare you for professional driving. Getting to know the vehicle, blind spots, loading and passenger safety, hill starts and manoeuvring are all practised with our experienced, qualified instructors.

How does the training work?

  1. Pre-registration and documents: After you pre-register online, one of our advisers will call you; you then hand in your documents and complete your enrolment.
  2. Theory lessons: First aid, traffic and environment, vehicle mechanics and traffic etiquette. Between lessons you study with the practice tests on our website.
  3. Theory e-exam: We book your place on the Ministry's electronic exam. Together we use your practice test results to see when you are ready.
  4. Driving lessons: Practical lessons with your instructor at the times you agree; one of the final lessons is a rehearsal at the test ground.
  5. Driving test and licence: Once you have passed the test, we complete the paperwork for your driving licence together.

You can check fees and instalment options with the calculator on this page and pre-register straight away.
