1. 4 weeks before

   Planning

   • Book a free survey and get a written quote
   • Fix your moving date (mid-month is cheaper)
   • Decide what to sell, donate or throw away
   • Measure the new home and plan furniture placement
   • Note rental contract and deposit dates

2. 2-3 weeks before

   Utilities and preparation

   • Transfer electricity, water, gas and internet
   • Report your change of address via e-Government
   • Update bank, insurance and delivery addresses
   • Start packing rooms you rarely use
   • Start school and work transfer formalities

3. 1 week before

   Packing

   • Label boxes with room names and "fragile"
   • Put clothes into wardrobe boxes
   • Tell the building management about moving day and lift use
   • Arrange a parking spot for the vehicle
   • Put valuables and documents in a separate bag
4. 1 day before

   Final preparations

   • Empty and defrost the fridge
   • Drain the washing machine
   • Pack your first-night bag
   • Charge your phone and power bank
   • Save the crew leader's phone number
5. Moving day

   The move

   • Walk the crew through the home, point out special items
   • Photograph the meter readings
   • Check the empty home one last time (cupboards, balcony, storage)
   • Hand over the keys
   • Follow the journey on your tracking page
6. In the new home

   Settling in

   • Check your goods against the delivery report
   • Check furniture assembly and appliance connections
   • Set up the bedroom and kitchen first
   • Meet your neighbours
   • Rate your move
